In addition to the workcamp, we will participate in a variety of
culturally related activities in New Orleans.

Steeped in a history of influences from Europe, the Caribbean, Africa,
and beyond, New Orleans is one of the world's most fascinating cities -
a mosaic of culture, food, and music.
Yet
in the midst of this culture is a community that still bears the scars
of damage from Hurricane Katrina. This summer, we will join with
hundreds of youth from around the country to help in the continued
rebuilding process. |
