We invite
you to ring the Tower Bells!
The
"Tower Bells" is the Carillon
of First United Methodist Church. Designed and built by Schulmerich
Carillons, the Tower Bells Carillon incorporates Flemish, English, and Harp Bells and
traditional Cast Bells peals. The Tower Bells are rung each week in honor
or memory of someone special to one of the members of our Church Community.
To
sponsor a week of the Tower Bells for a donation of $100, please contact the
First Church Office at 227-8181.
Carillon Schedule Monday-Saturday:
The Tower Bells peals every hour and half hour from 8am - 9pm
each day. At the hour, the Westminster Peal sounds, then the number of
swings of the hour of the day.
Hymns of the season are played at 8am, Noon and 5pm.
Carillon Schedule on Sundays:
The Call to Worship peals at 8:15, 9:45 and 10:45 am.
Hymns of the season are played at 2pm and 5pm.
The Carillon Rings to Celebrate Life:
After the Memorial Service for First Church members, the Tower
Bells toll the number of years of a person's life.
